Year-in-Review Journal

What you get

The end of a year goes by in a blur, and most of it is forgotten by spring. This journal is for anyone who wants to close out 2026 properly: remember what happened, give themselves credit, and carry the lessons forward instead of starting January from scratch.

It is built to make remembering easy. Every month of 2026 has its own block with a mini calendar of that month, prompts for highlights, the best moment and what you learned, and a rating. Then it narrows down to your top ten moments, the people who mattered, your proudest achievements, and one word to steer 2027.

What's inside

• 2026 at a glance: the year in one word and one sentence, six quick numbers, favorites of the year, the best and hardest days
• Month by month: twelve month blocks, two per page, each with a mini calendar of that month, highlights, best moment, what I learned and a rating
• Top ten moments, plus a moment nobody else noticed and one to repeat
• Lessons learned: about yourself, what you would do differently, what you are letting go of
• Proudest achievements: the big ones, small wins nobody saw, something that scared you
• People who mattered, with a column to tick once you have told them
• Books, films and places
• Thirty things I am grateful for
• A letter to my future self, to open at the end of 2027
• One word for 2027: 24 word ideas, your word, and how it will show up
